THANK YOU

THANK YOU

March was my birthday month, and it was a fantastic, nonstop celebration! (In our family, we like to celebrate birthdays all month long!) Family and friends blessed me with cakes, cards, balloons, flowers, coffee dates, gifts including tickets to a play, encouraging words and lots of laughter, love, joy and fun. My heart is overflowing with gratitude! (Now that my birthday month is over for this year, I’m finding it hard to get back to the routine of daily activities.)

Time passes so quickly. I clearly remember celebrating as a child and now I’m seventy-three years old! Funny, I don’t consider myself old, and that has everything to do with how my thinking has changed over the years. I now approach each day as a new adventure of friendship, sharing, growing, changing, serving others, trying and learning new things. There are definitely difficult days, but on the whole, my life is good, and for that I’m extremely grateful.

On the last day of my birthday month, I spent time reflecting on the past year, considering how I’d grown–spiritually, personally and professionally. I use the Passion Planner (a monthly/weekly planner), and every month I review what I learned so that I can gain further clarity about my vision and progress and specifically where I’d like to be next year for my seventy-fourth birthday month.

I want to celebrate all the women God has brought into my life who show me compassion, love, joy, support, trust, how to laugh at myself and persevere, and so much more! Good friends are a blessing, and I’m truly blessed. Thank you for an amazing year. Your love and generosity are greatly appreciated.

The Bible verse I chose for Eva Marie Workshops is what you did for me this past month, and I want to extend my sincerest thanks!

How do you celebrate your birthday? Remember that every day can be a celebration!
