Open Your Heart to Transformation

Open Your Heart to Transformation

I hope your first week of Spring has been as beautiful as ours–birds singing, flowers blooming, trees budding. Transformation is happening all around us. Everywhere we look, we can see God’s creative hand at work.

What does transformation look like for you? Does it scare you or excite you? For me, it’s a little bit of both. I’ve had a lot of transformation in my life since I started my business. I’ve experienced both fear and excitement. Moving out of my comfort zone hasn’t been easy, but when is it ever easy?

Transformation takes time; it isn’t a one time event in our lives. It’s an ongoing process that happens in stages. It starts in our hearts and minds. We feel a tugging to move in a new direction. A seed has been planted. The question is whether we’ll allow the seed to take root, or will we push it out before it can grow? There have been times when I’ve wanted to do the latter. Have you been there? The fear of the unknown about transformation can make us doubt if we want to change at all. It’s human nature to want to stay in our comfortable spots.

However, if we don’t push through, we miss the priceless beauty, change, and growth that can come from transformation. For example:

Artists can turn blank canvases into beautiful, colorful paintings
Seeds planted in dirt can bloom into gorgeous flowers
Cotton plants can be spun into soft fabrics
Caterpillars can metamorph into magical butterflies

So much can happen when we are willing to be transformed. It won’t be perfect, but we shouldn’t let perfectionism paralyze our potential. There is no rush to the process, no time limit on transforming. The process develops character, strength, courage, faith and wisdom.

Are you ready for transformation this Spring? What do you need to do today to get where you want to be tomorrow? Are your heart and mind nudging you toward change? Welcome! God created each one of us for a purpose. He gave all of us different gifts, abilities, and talents, and He wants us to use them and share them with others.

Allow the seeds of change to take root. Just like all the seasons need one another in the process of transformation, we need patience and an open heart, a willingness to shift and the right people to encourage us. Transformation can be exciting and fun, and can help us reach our destinies. Are you willing to transform and share with others? What seeds are you planting today?

In the comments section, share how you are transforming, or have been transformed.

A beautiful blog and I love the part about not letting perfectionism limit our potential! That struck a cord with me for sure.
It is inspiring to see that we are capable of transformation even in our mature and later years. I like you, am transforming in the area of self development and in the business realm. It is exciting to see that I can still grow and benefit others, even when some think I’m crazy to not just be sitting back! All the best to you, my like minded “cousin”!

    Hi Marie
Great blog. I have been transforming for a while now, I had trouble accepting changes at first, but now I’m looking forward for the new. I became more patient since having a baby three months ago. Now I’m looking for new career that will transform my life and I would like to align it with my natural talents that God gave me,but I’m still discovering what it would be. Thank you for another awesome blog
